The face of the perfume is Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr, who confirmed that the perfume "encourages positivity and confidence to see the bright side of life."

Escada Joyful is a bright floral scent, created with the aim to enhance your mood. The top notes are fruity aromas of black currant, melon and mandarin. The heart is floral and includes accords of peony, and magnolia, as well as nectarine and violet leaf. The base is made from honey and sandalwood.

Received a tester of Joyful this morning, and I have to say I really like it! Could not really identify the individual notes in it, but as a whole it smells feminine, flowery, light and simply pleasant - even pretty!
Perhaps not the most original stand-out fragrance, but something that is easy to wear and fits all occasions!

"I tried this in sephora today and I like it. I sprayed twice on my wrist and I could smell the coconut and watermelon as I was shopping. On first spray, I could smell the watermelon and the coconut but the coconut was a bit more prominent and stayed for about 2 hours and after that, I could smell the sweet watermelony plum scent come out. It lasted for quite a long time; I could still smell it on my wrist 3 hours later. The dry down reminds me of Britney spears's midnight fantasy but not as intense."
